According to Clark Carr, President of Narconon International, it is expected that the Albion drug treatment facility will help approximately 400 people a year turn their lives around so that they can live a drug-free and ethical life.
Site of the former Trillium Hospital, the Albion center will have over 100 employees once the final renovations are complete. William Wheaton, Mayor of Albion, welcomed the new drug rehab treatment center, stating his appreciation that the building that for so long housed their local hospital is once again being utilized to assist individuals with health-related issues.
As part of its program, the center incorporates the unique sauna sweat-out program based on the works of writer and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard. This year, Narconon celebrates its 40th anniversary, having been founded by William Benitez in the Arizona State Prison in 1966. Narconon now has drug prevention, education and drug rehab centers in over 40 countries.
