
Program Graduates from Spain Celebrate Drug-Free Lives
The first Spanish graduates event was held on the 18th of April, 2004, at the Tryp Reina Victoria Hotel in Madrid. The 60 plus attendees were comprised of graduates and their families.
Several of them spoke and shared their successes. For example, Rogelio Lopez, who had done other programs unsuccessfully, is now a successful educator and writes newspaper articles about the drug problem in Spain.
Virgilio Castellanos is now a successful businessman. Rosa became a very successful businesswoman in the fashion industry. Since graduating the program, Joan Alemany has dedicated around 20 years of his life to helping others.
Valentine Fernandez Tubau, the first executive director of the Spain National Office, spoke about the beginnings of the Narconon programs in Spain and how impressed he is by the tremendous expansion over the years.
